| LOBBY RENOVATION 8 WEST 70th STREET, NEW YORK Congregation Shearith Israel, America's first Jewish congregation, has a mid-century modern community center that was added to its historic synagogue. Over the years, dark brown wallpaper, a mish mash of furniture, and various repairs had left the community center entrance in a not visually pleasing state. Redecoration of the space included new finishes, new furniture, new curtains, new signage, and a new custom leaflet display cabinet (shown left).
