GROGAN JEWELERS
MAIN STREET, FLORENCE, ALABAMA
The facade design for Grogan Jewelers was begun after renovations to this Main Street storefront were already underway. To assist the owner in carrying out a renovation to this store while being sensitive to the historic character of Main Street, we developed a scheme that added a cornice with brackets, new window surrounds to increase the size of the windows, new signage, and larger display windows that activate the street level with the reflectivity of the glass and appealing color. This project was joint project of Christine G. H. Franck and Michael M. Franck, Architect.
