PRESERVATION OF WEST 21st STREET CEMETERY
110 WEST 21st StREET, NEW YORK
From 1829 through 1851 the Congregation Shearith Israel, the oldest Jewish Congregation in America, utilized their third cemetery on West 21st Street.  It is a unique peaceful and sacred space in the heart of busy Chelsea.  After a recent, extensive object conservation program, Christine G. H. Franck, Inc. has worked with the Congregation to prepare a masterplan for the preservation of the cemetery.  Work includes an historically sensitive re-landscaping, documentation, new signage, and conservation of the masonry enclosure and historic ironwork.

BYRD RESIDENCE
FORT WORTH, TEXAS
Formerly a beautiful Colonial Revival home, this house was insensitively renovated over the years with inappropriate, poorly-scaled classical details.  Brent Hull, of Hull Historical, was brought in to renovate the home and return it to its former elegance.  Christine G. H. Franck, Inc. designed the renovations to the front facade including the removal of incorrect cast-stone detailing, and addition of new columns, new entablature, new shutters, and re-whitewashing the brick facade.

CAMBRAI, FRANCE
A small existing house, on a long narrow lot with several other structures, will be added to in order to provide new living quarters.  The new wing will merge the client's taste for American colonial and classical architecture with the vernacular character of the existing house.

PUMP HOUSE & POTTING SHED ADDITION
BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
An historic bank barn on a rural property in Bucks County, Pennsylvania had a pool and terrace added to it to create an outdoor recreational area.  The current owner is renovating the barn and adding these new outbuildings as pavilions to define the pool terrace.  The two new pavilions, one a potting shed and one a pump house for the pool are modeled on historic outbuildings common in colonial-era America.
