Allegue, A Builder's Legacy is Ms. Franck's first book publication. Between 1928 and 1968 Jose Allegue worked in southwestern Long Island building custom homes at a rate of about one home per year. His is a story of ascendancy from immigrant to a builder respected and beloved by his clients.
